About The Position
Serenity Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional end-of-life care to patients in West Chester and the surrounding communities. As a Hospice CNA, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality personal care that promotes dignity, comfort, and quality of life for patients receiving hospice services in patients' homes and care facilities.
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Hospice, home health, or long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Promote patient comfort, dignity, and independence.
- Build compassionate relationships with patients and their families.
- Follow all hospice policies, procedures, and infection control standards.
