About The Position

This role is for a Hospice CNA/Certified Nursing Assistant covering the Paxton and surrounding areas, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts. Requirements

Active CNA License or Certification in the state of employment
Possess and maintains current CPR certification
Comfort and sensitivity working with terminally ill patients and their families
A calm, dependable presence under emotionally demanding circumstances
Strong attention to detail in observation and documentation
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for patient visits

Nice To Haves

One (1) + year Hospice, home health or related organization experience preferred

Responsibilities

Providing personal care with dignity, comfort, and respect at the center of everything
Attending to patient needs and requests promptly and compassionately
Monitoring and recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as directed
Observing patients and reporting changes to the care team accurately and in a timely manner
Communicating with patients and families in a positive, ethical, and confidential manner
Maintaining thorough documentation in line with organizational standards
Upholding the hospice philosophy with professionalism and genuine compassion
