About The Position

American River Hospice Services, an in-home hospice agency serving the greater Sacramento area, is looking for a Hospice Clinical Supervisor to lead our clinical team. The role involves managing and coordinating patient care, ensuring compliance with regulations, and upholding quality standards in our hospice care services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospice care
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong familiarity with hospice regulations, policies, and procedures
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate patient care services within the hospice program of American River Hospice Services
• Provide supervision and mentorship to clinical staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Perform regular audits and assessments to uphold quality standards
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of clinical staff
• Offer educational programs and resources to enhance staff skills and knowledge
