About The Position

As a Chaplain at Moments Hospice, you provide spiritual support to patients and families navigating end-of-life journeys. You collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care that respects diverse beliefs and values. The role offers autonomy and variety, clear expectations, reasonable caseloads, and on-call support, as well as opportunities to collaborate with leadership and contribute to the team’s success.

Requirements

• Master's degree in divinity (MDiv) or equivalent theological degree.
• Experience working with death, dying individuals, and their families.
• Comfort in interfaith settings and ability to accept diverse beliefs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct spiritual care to patients and families.
• Collaborate with community clergy and spiritual counselors.
• Maintain accurate spiritual care service records.
• Attend team meetings and offer spiritual care expertise.
• Recruit and supervise spiritual care volunteers.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
