Interim HealthCare Hospice is hiring for a Part-time Hospice Chaplain in Hutchinson, KS. Requirements
- Graduate of accredited seminary, school of theology and/or religious studies program (BD, MDiv or equivalent theological degree.)
- Experience working with death and dying, terminally ill individuals and their families or caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of Hospice patients and their families' spiritual needs
- Ensure the appropriate spiritual services are provided in a timely manner by either providing such services to the patient/family or coordinating the provision of services with community clergy or spiritual counselors.
- Maintains records of spiritual services utilization and related activities as directed.
- Participates in the development of the interdisciplinary group plan of care to meet identified spiritual needs.
- Provides funeral or memorial services for patients as requested.
