About The Position

As a Hospice CNA, you will provide paraprofessional services to the organization’s home care clients. These services are developed by the primary nurse and prescribed by the physician, in compliance with the state’s Nurse Practice Act and any other regulations defining home health aide/hospice aide services. The role offers consistent and reliable workloads with predictable schedules and steady assignments. It emphasizes meaningful 1:1 patient care, allowing for the building of real relationships and seeing the direct impact of your work. There are no on-call requirements, promoting true work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Michigan
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to provide emotional support to patients and families
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health
