Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant - Full Time Pittsburgh- Clariton, PA Step Into a Fulfilling Career With Advantage At Advantage Home Health and Hospice, we believe that compassionate care is at the heart of hospice. We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team, providing comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families during their most vulnerable moments. Join our ever-expanding Hospice team in Allegheny county in PA. This role offers the chance to directly provide patient care within homes, truly making a difference in the lives of our patients.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid Driver's license and state required Auto Insurance
- A deep sense of empathy and compassion for patients and their families.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to provide physical and emotional comfort to those in need.
- Collaboration skills to work effectively with the hospice care team.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of end-of-life care principles (experience in hospice is a plus).
Responsibilities
- Deliver empathetic and compassionate care to patients in their homes or facilities.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, pain management, and symptom control.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment for patients.
- Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
