Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
As a Hospice CNA, you will provide paraprofessional services to the organization’s home care clients. These services will be developed by the primary nurse and prescribed by the physician, in compliance with the state’s Nurse Practice Act and any other regulations defining home health aide/hospice aide services. Holy Cross Home Care and Hospice is a member of Trinity Health At Home, a national home care, hospice and palliative care organization serving communities across 11 states. As a faith-based, not-for-profit agency, we are committed to caring for patients and families in the place they feel most comfortable—at home. Our services include skilled nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy and medical social work.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Maryland
- High school diploma or GED
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to provide emotional support to patients and families
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

- Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health
