We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team at a beautiful 6-bed inpatient hospice center in Valparaiso, Indiana. Requirements

Current Indiana CNA certification required
Current HHA certification or qualifying healthcare experience preferred
Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable, professional, and caring demeanor
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely

Nice To Haves

Previous hospice, long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare experience preferred
Hospice, home health, or caregiving experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Maintain patient comfort and dignity at all times
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Assist with repositioning and transferring patients safely
Perform light housekeeping related to patient care areas
Document care provided according to facility policies
Support the interdisciplinary hospice team in delivering exceptional end-of-life care
