About The Position
The Hospice Care Consultant (HCC) role is a field-based position with a company car included. This role is designed for experienced hospice sales representatives, healthcare account executives, or clinicians who are looking to transition into sales. The primary focus is on building relationships with referral sources and representing the hospice provider. They aim to change the hospice experience by being present, responsive, and meeting the specific needs of patients and families.
Requirements
- Ability to build real relationships.
- Ability to represent something they believe in.
- Drive, empathy, and follow-through.
- Hospice or home health sales experience.
- Medical device or pharma sales experience.
- Clinical liaison experience.
- RN liaison experience.
- Nursing, social work, or chaplaincy background with a desire to move into sales.
- SNF or AL business development experience.
- Outside sales experience from other industries.
- Readiness to step into hospice sales with the right drive and heart.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with referral sources.
- Represent the hospice provider to referral sources.
- Follow through on commitments to referral sources.
- Bring referrals to the clinical and operations teams.
