About The Position

Hillcrest Hospice Care is looking for a compassionate and dependable Hospice Assistant (CNA) who wants to provide comfort, dignity, and meaningful support to patients and their families during one of life’s most important stages. As a Hospice Assistant, you’ll provide one-on-one personal care to patients in their homes and care communities. You’ll work alongside our nurses and interdisciplinary hospice team to help patients remain comfortable, safe, and cared for while providing families with reassurance and support. As a Hospice Assistant, you’ll provide individualized care based on each patient’s plan of care. Requirements

• Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance required.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of personal care experience preferred.
• One year of Home Care or Hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one personal care to patients in their homes and care communities.
• Work alongside nurses and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Help patients remain comfortable, safe, and cared for.
• Provide families with reassurance and support.
• Provide individualized care based on each patient’s plan of care.
