About The Position
Choice Hospice is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead Business Development Liaisons across an assigned territory while expanding our referral partnerships and advancing our mission of providing exceptional hospice care. This role involves overseeing business development operations, ensuring growth objectives are achieved, and supporting a culture of excellence and compassionate service.
Requirements
- Healthcare sales leadership experience required.
- Marketing, communications, or public relations experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring sales professionals preferred.
- Hospice, Home Health, or post-acute healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Hospice Business Development Liaisons (BDLs).
- Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new sales team members.
- Partner with the VP of Sales to develop and execute territory growth strategies.
- Build and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and healthcare providers.
- Monitor sales performance and ensure territory goals are achieved.
- Collaborate with facility administrators, clinical leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Participate in community outreach, networking, and marketing events to increase brand awareness.
- Assist with the development of new programs and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
- Promote Choice Hospice's mission, values, and culture through professional leadership and community engagement.
