Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Hospice Aide – Inpatient Unit (IPU) Do you have a passion for providing comfort, dignity, and compassionate care to patients and families during life's most meaningful moments? If so, we invite you to join our dedicated hospice team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Hospice Aide in our Inpatient Unit (IPU). As a Hospice Aide, you'll be an essential member of an interdisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional end-of-life care. Under the supervision of licensed nurses, you'll provide hands-on patient care while offering comfort, support, and compassion to both patients and their loved ones.
Requirements
- Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
Nice To Haves
- One year of recent clinical experience preferred.
- Hospice or home health experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
- Assist patients with meals, mobility, repositioning, and comfort measures.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Support patient safety and infection control practices.
- Build meaningful connections with patients and families through active listening and compassionate communication.
- Help create a warm, respectful, and dignified environment focused on comfort and quality of life.
