About The Position
Sanctuary Hospice is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Aide (CNA) to join their compassionate team. This role involves providing hands-on care to patients at the end of life, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism. The Hospice Aide will work closely with the nursing team to deliver comfort and dignity to patients. Sanctuary Hospice is a mission-driven, patient-centered leader in end-of-life care, focused on providing unwavering support, comfort, and compassion to patients and their loved ones. Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting.
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
- Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Your presence during these intimate moments contributes significantly to their overall comfort and dignity.
- Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction. Your dedication to providing outstanding care will be valued and celebrated as part of our team.
- Provide Support for Families: Impact patients' families by sharing your knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones. Your presence offers confidence and reassurance during this challenging time.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Every detail is crucial in delivering high-quality care, both in the patient's home and within our agency and regulatory standards. Your attention to detail is vital to our success.
