About The Position

Bon Secours Home Care and Hospice by Compassus is seeking a part-time Hospice Admission Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role focuses on enabling patients to spend quality time with loved ones and engage in enjoyable activities. The RN will assess patients for hospice eligibility, explain services to patients and families, ensure initial patient needs are met, and collaborate with the Inter-Disciplinary Team on the plan of care and patient condition.

Requirements

• RN license in the state you work
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse
• Hospice experience preferred
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR and BCLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for hospice eligibility
• Explain hospice care services to patients, families/caregivers
• Ensure all patient’s initial needs are addressed
• Collaborate with the Inter-Disciplinary Team members regarding initial plan of care, patient’s condition, and other essential information
