About The Position

Compassus is seeking a Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse to join their team. This role involves assessing patients for hospice eligibility, explaining services to patients and families, ensuring initial needs are met, and collaborating with the Inter-Disciplinary Team. Requirements

• RN license in the state you work
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse
• Current driver’s license
• Current CPR and BCLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for hospice eligibility
• Explain hospice care services to patients, families/caregivers
• Ensure all patient’s initial needs are addressed
• Collaborate with the Inter-Disciplinary Team members regarding initial plan of care, patient’s condition, and other essential information
