About The Position
Compassus is seeking a Hospice Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This PRN position focuses on assessing patients for hospice eligibility, explaining services to patients and families, addressing initial needs, and collaborating with the Inter-Disciplinary Team. Requirements
- RN license in the state you work
- Two years of experience as a registered nurse
- Current driver’s license
- Current CPR and BCLS certification

- Hospice experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess patients for hospice eligibility.
- Explain hospice care services to patients, families/caregivers.
- Ensure all patient’s initial needs are addressed.
- Collaborate with the Inter-Disciplinary Team members regarding initial plan of care, patient’s condition, and other essential information.
