About The Position

This role involves working independently to fulfill customer needs by assembling hoses, shipping and receiving parts and components, and providing customer counter support. The technician will operate forklifts, company vehicles, and hose assembly equipment. Key responsibilities include maintaining housekeeping in the hose, warehouse, and shop areas, picking up and delivering parts, and assisting in all aspects of Hydraulic Division operations. The position also requires fabricating hose assemblies and battery cables according to customer specifications, checking parts sales orders and delivery receipts for accuracy, and being responsible for the maintenance of delivery vehicles. Additionally, the role involves filling orders from stock, assisting in inventory maintenance and control, and performing all assigned warehouse functions. The individual is expected to work safely at all times, adhere to all applicable safety policies, and comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards, while also promoting corporate values.

Requirements

Computer skills conversant with DBS, Antares, SIS, HIS.
Reads and understands digital calipers.
Mathematical skills sufficient for measuring hose, counting stock, and maintaining supply inventories.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Valid driver’s license.
Prior experience in Fluid connector business.
Previous knowledge and experience in Hose assembly and warehouse functions, including forklift operations.
Ability to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.

Responsibilities

Fills orders from stock.
Assists in inventory maintenance and control.
Performs all warehouse functions as assigned.
Maintains housekeeping in the shop and warehouse areas.
Works safely at all times.
Adheres to all applicable safety policies.
Complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Works within and promotes corporate values.
