About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Shift Lead and the general supervision of the Production Supervisor, a Hose Operator assists with the day to day running of the non-extrusion lines within the Hose Department per individual line process, specifications and schedule.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Capable of following written / verbal instructions.
• Able to use calipers / similar measurement instruments.
• Organized / detail oriented with a high degree of attention / care to prevent injury to self or others.
• Has a co-operative attitude towards co-workers / supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up / Tear down assigned lines following established procedures.
• Maintain line production by monitoring equipment per procedure and specification.
• Prepare/Maintain daily process / production reports / travel cards.
• Report KPI (key process inputs) as needed and maintain a good line of communication with Shift Lead / co-workers.
• Maintain clean / safe work area following safety procedures and 5S movement.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or management to meet the needs of the organization.
