Come be a part of this incredible and inclusive team at Invited ! Job Summary: The Horticulturist is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of golf course landscapes and clubhouse gardens. Responsible for executing skilled horticultural and landscape maintenance work to ensure the aesthetic and functional quality of the golf course and surrounding areas. This role involves both routine maintenance and specialized tasks as needed to support the overall landscape management efforts of the golf course.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape maintenance, greenhouse management, or groundskeeping.

Responsibilities

  • Operate powered equipment for mowing and maintaining golf course and clubhouse landscape operations.
  • Water, fertilize, and apply pesticides to flowerbeds and shrubbery around the clubhouse.
  • Trim trees, prune shrubbery, and cultivate shrubs and flowers to enhance the aesthetic appeal and health of the landscapes.
  • Plant and maintain woody plant materials and flowerbeds in the clubhouse, golf course, and commons areas.
  • Operate and calibrate spraying equipment for accurate application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments.
  • Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
  • Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
  • Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.
  • Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team’s success.
