School of BTT Horticulture (FRIDAY EVENING & SATURDAY DAY) Adjunct Faculty (Part-Time)
About The Position
Virginia Western Community College is seeking part-time Horticulture Adjunct Faculty to teach college-level courses on Friday evenings and Saturday days. These positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. The faculty will teach in-person on the main campus, as well as hybrid or distance learning/online courses. Courses include Plant Propagation, Landscape Plants, Pest Management, Soils, Greenhouse Management, and Management of a Horticulture Business. Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching disciplines and in trends in community college education, and to be active participants in departmental communication.
Requirements
- Teach college-level courses in Plant Propagation, Landscape Plants, Pest Management, Soils, Greenhouse Management, and Management of a Horticulture Business.
