The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at GCU is home to dedicated faculty and leaders who are deeply committed to inspiring and guiding students. Our faculty are dynamic mentors, devoted to fostering academic, spiritual, and personal growth in every student they serve. As experts in their fields, they are not only passionate educators but also collaborative partners who enrich the college experience for all. If you are driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact and help others discover their purpose, consider joining our mission by becoming an instructor at GCU. The College of Humanities and Social Sciences offers fulfilling opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach part-time, in-person courses at our Phoenix campus. If you are a motivated educator eager to provide high-quality instruction in a modern, collaborative environment with smaller class sizes, we would love to hear from you. The honors symposium takes place during the first year and builds upon the topics of ethics, service, leadership, research, cultural awareness, and innovative thinking that are discussed in other first-year courses in the honors program. Students explore their respective industry, investigate and discuss local and global issues within that industry, and brainstorm and propose solutions to real-world problems experienced within the industry. This course further integrates professional development and guidance into preparing students for a future career within their respective industry.
