About The Position

Overtown Youth Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Honey Shine Program Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual who is committed to empowering youth and families by ensuring the successful implementation and management of key program components. The Program Coordinator will cultivate a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment, while also providing essential case coordination services and acting as a liaison with partner schools. What you would do: Provide case coordination services (information, plan referral and linkages) as needed for both students and families. Develop and maintain student file according to OYC standards (assessments, Individual Success Plans, Progress Notes, etc.). Coordinate services with other professionals and paraprofessionals, inclusive of OYC staff. Ability to work with middle and high school girls. Ensure attendance and other data is submitted in a timely manner. Act as a liaison with the schools that we service. Chaperone after school outings and exposure trips with students. Participate in the quality improvement process. Participate in weekly case staffing/team meeting. Assist with the development and implementation of curriculum and special projects. Develop and maintain a safe, supportive and fun learning environment in which students thrive. Actively participate in staff development workshops and trainings.

Requirements

At least 3 to 5 years of experience in youth programs.
High school diploma required; additional qualifications or certifications a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) are necessary.
A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong ability to adapt to changing needs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass drug screening and Level 2 background check.
