About The Position

Jeff Wyler Automotive Family is seeking Flat Rate Technicians for Jeff Wyler Superior Honda in Cincinnati, OH. This role involves performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles according to dealership and factory standards, diagnosing malfunctions, and communicating effectively with the parts department and service advisors.

Requirements

Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training preferred.
ASE certifications preferred.
Hold a valid driver’s license.
May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, by the dealership and factory standards.
Diagnoses the cause of most malfunctions and performs repair.
Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Communicates with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
