About The Position

As a Wholesale Delivery Driver, you are responsible for more than just dropping off parts. Your day will include Delivery & Logistics: Safely load, unload, pack, and organize the company vehicle to deliver automotive parts to our commercial and wholesale shop partners on a set schedule. Order & Inventory Accuracy: Perform daily morning checks to ensure all parts sold are correctly pulled and loaded for your route. Meticulously verify parts against invoices at each delivery stop, checking off each item to guarantee customers only receive parts they ordered. Assist the wholesale team by pulling parts from inventory and accurately labeling them with the shop name, date, and employee number. Administrative Duties: Invoice all Sales Orders (SORs) and pick tickets in our CDK system before departure, ensuring only parts being delivered that day are invoiced. Maintain necessary documentation, including handling and logging any cash-on-delivery (COD) payments. Manage and log all customer returns, picking them up from shops and checking them into the return bin at the end of your shift. Vehicle Maintenance: Take ownership of your designated delivery vehicle by performing daily safety checks and filling out a weekly vehicle log. Maintain a pristine vehicle, including weekly interior/exterior washing and ensuring all monthly service is completed. Customer Service: Maintain a professional attitude, conduct, and appearance at all times when interacting with customers and team members.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an insurable driving record.
Must be able to follow all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing safe operation of the company vehicle at all times.
Must have a flexible schedule. We operate 6 days a week, and availability during these times is required.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and check for accuracy in part numbers, invoices, delivery manifests, and cash handling.
Excellent organizational skills to efficiently load the van and complete the entire delivery route in a timely manner.
Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs with the assistance of a hand truck.
Must have the ability to sit in a moving vehicle for several hours at a time.
Ability to load, unload, and carry parts, which involves frequent lifting and bending.
Strong communication skills for courteous interaction with customers and team members.

Nice To Haves

Automotive experience or previous delivery driver experience is a plus.
