About The Position
Schomp Honda is seeking a skilled and motivated Honda Mainline Technician to join their team. This role involves servicing vehicles for routine maintenance, diagnosing and recommending repairs for mechanical and electrical issues, and working collaboratively to achieve dealership and manufacturer goals. The technician will be responsible for efficiently and accurately repairing or replacing parts and resolving vehicle issues while meeting productivity targets.
Requirements
- Experience as a Honda mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center required
- The ability to work independently with limited supervision and demonstrate the motivation to continually increase your knowledge & technical skills
- Your own complete and up-to-date set of tools
- You must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR
Responsibilities
- Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled and regular maintenance
- Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, and accurately recommend replacement/repair as needed
- Work with your team toward achieving dealership, group, and manufacturer goals and benchmarks
- Efficiently and accurately repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues, maintaining productivity goals
