About The Position

Delivering Solutions that Matter: Own the dining experience from start to finish by preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals for a dedicated household, ensuring residents receive nutritious, appealing meals in a welcoming environment. Build meaningful relationships with residents by getting to know the unique preferences, routines, and needs of approximately 16 residents, creating a personalized and home-like atmosphere. Serve as a universal team member by supporting residents beyond meal service, including assisting with transportation to activities and encouraging participation in daily life. Promote resident choice and quality of life by adapting meals, schedules, and daily interactions to individual preferences while fostering independence, dignity, and engagement. Maintain a safe, organized, and inviting household by following food safety and sanitation standards, managing kitchen operations, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional resident-centered care.

Requirements

• 18+ Years of age
• Collaborative team player with the ability to follow instructions
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written

Nice To Haves

• Prior Dietary experience working in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
