About The Position

Piedmont Crossing, a premier continuing care retirement community located in beautiful Davidson County, North Carolina, is seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Homemaker to join our team. As part of the EveryAge family, you'll play a vital role in enriching the daily lives of older adults through meaningful service and personal connections. The Homemaker is a multi-skilled team member responsible for supporting resident well-being through a combination of dining services, housekeeping, laundry, and engagement activities. This position helps create a comfortable, clean, and inviting household environment while promoting residents' independence, dignity, and quality of life. The Homemaker serves resident meals and refreshments, maintains household cleanliness, assists with laundry services, and contributes to resident-centered activities that foster community and engagement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or residential services for older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain clean, sanitary, and organized resident living areas and common spaces.
• Complete laundry tasks to ensure residents have clean clothing, linens, and personal items.
• Support and participate in household activities and events that promote resident engagement and social interaction.
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines in all aspects of work.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Assist in creating a warm, welcoming household atmosphere that reflects Piedmont Crossing's commitment to exceptional resident care.
• Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Use cleaning products and supplies appropriately according to established procedures.
