About The Position

Abernathy Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable students to support seniors in Stoneham, Malden, Medford, and surrounding communities as Homemakers, Personal Care Aides (PCAs), and Home Health Aides (HHAs). This part-time role offers flexible schedules that accommodate classes, labs, and clinical rotations, allowing students to gain valuable healthcare experience, develop essential skills, and build their resumes while making a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

• HHA or PCA certification preferred, but not required for all positions
• Students and recent graduates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and social engagement
• Assisting with meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and household support
• Helping clients remain safe and independent in their homes
• Assisting with errands and daily routines
• Supporting clients with non-medical personal care (for qualified caregivers)
