About The Position

Homemakers and Companions are needed to provide essential support and companionship to clients, enabling them to live comfortably and independently in their own homes. This role involves providing joy, conversation, friendship, and maintaining a clean home for seniors and other adults in need of assistance. It is a great opportunity for college students and individuals looking to supplement their income. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Desire to learn and help elders.
• Experience in restaurant or retail industry, teaching or nannying, housekeeping or maid services, ride share or taxi driving, social work and work with behaviorally challenged individuals.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming/sweep floors, dusting, wet mopping, care of bathroom, changing linens, clean kitchen, wash dishes, meal planning & preparation and empty trash, cleaning the refrigerator, laundry, and grocery shopping.
• Supervision/monitor of activities. Assist with phone calls/communication, read and socialization. Escort to recreational activity, accompany to appointments. (Medical, Business), and accompany on walks.
