JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The Homeless System Navigator is responsible for coordinating navigation efforts across Jefferson County for individuals experiencing homelessness. This position will demonstrate and utilize knowledge of housing and stabilization outcome principles, practices, and techniques. Navigators will support individuals with accessing shelter, housing, mental health services, basic needs, treatment and other necessary services. Navigator will utilize Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) for data collection and reporting. Navigator will collaborate with community partners and provide coordinated street outreach and services to highly vulnerable populations. SCHEDULE: This position operates primarily in-person on a four- or five day work week, which can be discussed with the hiring manager. Offsite community outreach and mobile work is . Some flexibility is necessary on an as-needed basis. COMPENSATION: Hiring Range: $24.46-$26.26 USD hourly Compensation will be determined based on education, experience and skills.
