About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homecare RN with at least 1 year of experience to provide exceptional nursing care to clients in Birmingham, MI and the surrounding areas. This role involves delivering personalized, high-quality home health services to support the health and well-being of our patients in their own homes.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in homecare or related settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable transportation to visit clients in Birmingham and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide skilled nursing care including medication administration, wound care, and patient education.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor patient progress and document all nursing interventions accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
