About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 1 year of experience to provide home care services in Macomb, MI and the surrounding areas. Requirements
- Current and valid RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home care or related settings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Macomb and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to care plans and physician orders.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, progress, and response to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication administration, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
