About The Position

Manages inventory of medical supplies and equipment, coordinating their procurement and delivery to NCH Homecare patients. This role involves maintaining inventory levels, ordering and purchasing products, assisting with the fulfillment and delivery of ordered products and supplies to patient homes, and maintaining accurate records of equipment orders, costs, usage, and delivery. The specialist will also educate patients and caregivers on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment, provide excellent customer service, resolve issues, and assist with administrative tasks. Participation in quality and performance improvement activities is also expected.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the inventory levels of supplies and equipment, placing orders and purchasing products as needed.
  • Assists with the accurate fulfillment and delivery of ordered products and supplies to patient homes.
