As a Homecare Delivery Install Technician, you are responsible for transporting and retrieving respiratory therapy medical supplies to/from the homes of Cleveland Clinic patients, including oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders and aerosol compressors. You will also provide instructions on the operation, cleaning and safety of each piece of equipment, ensuring both patients and their supports feel comfortable handling their own care. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid Driver’s License (VDL) with a good driving record and insurance eligibility as determined by requirements to operate Foundation vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in a related specialty or home care business
  • Any kind of prior hospital experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-delivery quality assurance testing and assessment of all equipment.
  • Perform delivery, set up and pick up of home medical equipment.
  • Provide initial product safety and set up information to all new patients in verbal and written form.
  • Provide initial safety assessment of the home environment.
  • Communicate pertinent information to team members.
  • Store supplies and equipment on vehicles securely and safely according to DOT, OSHA, TJC and other regulatory groups.
  • Handle hazardous material safely according to FDA regulations.
  • Maintain delivery vehicle safety, efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Provide ongoing scheduled maintenance of equipment according to guidelines.
