About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring caring and reliable Caregivers to provide personalized in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities. We offer flexible scheduling options including day, evening, weekend, and overnight work.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Active car insurance required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Comfortable using a smartphone for documentation and clock in and out
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for seniors and/or disabled adults preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CNA/LNA certification or experience is a plus
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Provide medication reminders
- Run errands and grocery shop
- Transport clients to appointments and activities
- Assist with daily living needs
- Use a smartphone for clock-in/out and care documentation
