About The Position

Abcor Home Health is seeking a proactive Branch Manager to lead their high-volume Chicago office. This role involves a "50/50" split between business development (hunting for new billable hours) and operational optimization (ensuring high utilization). The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with experience in the Illinois home care sector and the ability to scale a branch.

Requirements

• At least three years of home care managerial experience is required.
• Must understand the Illinois home care landscape (CCP, MCO, or VA).
• Proactive mindset: scan the market for opportunities and build systems to prevent bottlenecks.
• Proven track record of staying focused on long-term growth goals, even when faced with the daily "fires" of a high-volume office.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with industry software (e.g., HHAeXchange).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Top Line: Proactively identify and secure new referral sources to grow the branch census and hit billable hours targets.
• Eliminate "Leakage": Audit and optimize the gap between authorized hours and billed hours to ensure maximum utilization.
• Lead the Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of office supervisors, holding them accountable to standards and operational KPIs.
• Master Compliance: Navigate the complexities of IDOA and MCO regulations to ensure 100% audit-readiness at all times.
