About The Position

The Kentucky River Area Development District is hiring a Homecare Aide to help Homecare Program clients live independently at home. The aide assists with daily living tasks, including personal care, light housekeeping, and errands, and serves clients in Lee, Owsley, and Wolfe Counties, Kentucky.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is based on education and/or experience. The position includes a 5% wage increase after successful completion of a six-month probationary period.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Dependable transportation.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must submit to a criminal record check before interviewing.
• Must pass a drug screen as a condition of an employment offer.

Responsibilities

• Assist Homecare Program clients with personal care.
• Provide light housekeeping assistance.
• Run errands for clients.
• Help clients live independently at home.
