About The Position
Farmington Public Schools has a continuous need for Homebound Tutors. Homebound Tutors provide tutoring services to students who are unable to attend school. A Bachelor's degree is required, and there are opportunities in a variety of grade levels and subject areas. Hours are dependent upon student need.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport with students.
- Possess a personable relationship with teachers.
- Ability to carry out directions in both oral and written form.
Nice To Haves
- Various life/work experiences that contribute to the candidate's overall preparedness.
- Prior experience working with school age children is a plus.
- State of CT Certification
