Non - Exempt Up to $21.86 Job Summary: Responsible for working with families in the Early Head Start Program in a collaborative, partnership-building manner that supports the building of mutual trust, in order to develop family goals & objectives for the program; includes accessing a variety of community services and resources such as services available to pregnant women, child development & education, parent involvement issues, health and nutrition, and related areas of concern for families.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Working knowledge of developmentally-appropriate parent-child interactions
  • Working knowledge of community services and resources
  • Basic computer skills – M/S Office, WORD, etc. & ability to work in variety of spread sheet programs

  • Working with families in the Early Head Start Program in a collaborative, partnership-building manner that supports the building of mutual trust, in order to develop family goals & objectives for the program.

  • Gaining understanding of family concerns and issues.
