About The Position

As a Home Visitor for Clinton and Franklin Counties, your community and child-focused approach to care will help North Country children and their families partner with the community to create happy, health, safe and school ready children. This is a home visiting position partnering with expectant and new parents in order to develop and perform community outreach and assessments. Connecting families to resources in order to support their baby's needs in the areas of cognitive, physical, social and emotional development, health, safety and assist with bonding and attachment. Conducting quality assurance reviews to participant's files to ensure all documentation adheres to HFA and HFNY standards.

Requirements

High school diploma and seven years’ related experience required.
Demonstrable knowledge of local/community resources.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the families served.
Strong engagement, communication, time management, and organizational skills required.
Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree plus three years’ related experience preferred.
College coursework counts towards related experience.
Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
