About The Position

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to help seniors and vulnerable adults live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. The role emphasizes companionship, trust, and support for clients and their families. Training, ongoing support, and encouragement are provided, including for people beginning their caregiving journey. The position serves clients in Medford and throughout the Rogue Valley, including Ashland, Jacksonville, Eagle Point, White City, Central Point, Phoenix, and Talent. Caregivers follow individual care plans, document daily care notes using a mobile app, and communicate with the office team.

Requirements

Successfully pass a background check.
Have reliable transportation and a valid ID.
Demonstrate compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Build relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
Provide medication reminders.
Assist with mobility and transportation.
Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment.
Follow individual care plans and accurately document daily care notes using a mobile app.
Communicate effectively with the office team.
