About The Position

Christ the King Manor is seeking compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our Home Support team. As a Caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one support that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home. Whether you're an experienced caregiver or looking to begin a rewarding career in healthcare, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. On-going needs to fill for these positions due to our fast expanding growth of the division.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, TB test, and pre-employment physical.
Available to work every other weekend.
A caring attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping others.
Must be 18 years of age

Pre-Employment Physical examination/TB Skin Test prior to patient contact
Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship and emotional support to help reduce isolation and promote independence.
Transport clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, pharmacies, and other essential errands.
Follow individualized care plans and accurately document completed services.
Maintain client confidentiality while providing compassionate, respectful care.
Follow specific care plans for clients and report on completed tasks.
Assist with personal care needs of the clients (bathing, dressing, etc.)
Provide or assist in routine house cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
Transport client to doctors office, grocery store and other essential errands.
Provides companionship services in accordance with the therapeutic goals
Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
