About The Position

The home sleep study scheduler is responsible for scheduling patient appointments, forwarding calls, providing information, creating orders, and verifying insurance authorizations. This role involves greeting individuals, determining the purpose of their visit, and directing them to the appropriate destination within the sleep lab. Additionally, the scheduler will answer inquiries and provide information to the general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties regarding activities conducted in the sleep lab.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • 1 year of work experience
  • Continuous standing
  • Continuous sitting
  • Continuous walking
  • Continuous working indoors
  • Continuous use of both legs
  • Continuous vision correction 20/40 (one or both eyes)
  • Continuous recognition of objects (near/far)
  • Continuous hearing acuity (with correction)
  • Continuous tactile sensory function
  • Continuous gross motor with fine motor coordination
  • Continuous olfactory (smell) function
  • Continuous respirator use qualification
  • Continuous effective stress management
