About The Position
BrightStar Care Home Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home infusion services for patients in Hunterdon County, NJ. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering high-quality, one-on-one care in the comfort of patients' homes. The position offers a flexible schedule with 8-hour shifts, 4 consecutive days each month for scheduled infusion treatments, and the opportunity to pick up additional infusion and nursing cases as they become available.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required
- Experience administering infusion therapy required
- Experience with peripheral IV starts and central line care/access
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Excellent clinical, communication, and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience completing Start of Care (SOC) assessments preferred
- Wound care experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed infusion therapies in patients' homes
- Start and maintain peripheral IVs and access central lines as ordered
- Monitor patients during and after infusions
- Complete Start of Care (SOC) assessments and accurate documentation as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on their treatment plan
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care
