About The Position

Requirements

PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy
Active, unrestricted Arizona Pharmacist license
2+ years of pharmacist experience

Nice To Haves

Home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or sterile compounding experience is a plus — including IV antibiotics, TPN, or specialty biologics.
Experience supervising or directing pharmacy technicians

Responsibilities

Perform pharmacy tasks including pharmaceutical calculations, data entry, and general workflow management
Oversee and verify sterile compounding by your technicians under USP 797 and 800
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, interactions, contraindications, and dosing
Monitor drug therapy, interpret labs, and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes
Work directly with physicians, nurses, and the care team to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and nurses on their therapy and what to expect
Supervise and develop a team of 13-15 pharmacy technicians
Maintain compliance with Board of Pharmacy, HIPAA, and accreditation standards, and contribute to QAPI
