About The Position

We are seeking a registered nurse with IVIg experience to provide in-home infusions for a local patient on a PRN basis. The treatment is Gammagard Liq 10% at 25 gm IV once daily for five days, with each infusion lasting approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes plus preparation time. The initial service dates are 10/19–10/23 in Adelanto, California. The patient has peripheral IV access and is described as a hard stick; a Curlin pump will be used. The patient has previously received this medication. Morning visits are preferred for the initial infusion cycle, while future cycles may require morning or evening visits depending on the patient’s work schedule. Scheduling flexibility is important.

The nurse will provide personalized, one-on-one home infusion nursing care and patient education in accordance with the physician’s treatment plan, while communicating with the patient and other members of the care team.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• IVIg experience.
• In-home infusion experience.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
• Access to a vehicle for business-related travel.
• Clear background check.
• Flexibility to accommodate morning or evening visits as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver immune globulin infusion therapies to the patient in their home.
• Provide personalized, one-on-one home infusion nursing care and patient education aligned with the physician’s treatment plan.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other collaborative partners.
