About The Position

We are seeking an infusion nurse (RN) with IVIg experience interested in providing in-home infusions for a local patient. The patient is new to treatment and requires infusions of Gamunex C, 60 grams intravenously once daily for 2 days every month. The treatment length is approximately 6 hours and 36 minutes plus prep time. The service will take place in Huffman, TX 77336 on 08/03-08/04. Access will be via PIV, with occasional hardstick. A Curlin Pump will be used, pre-programmed by the pharmacy for loading doses. At the start of the first maintenance dose visit, the RN must contact the pharmacy to complete a 2-Clinician Pump Program Change. The patient is flexible with the start time and does not have pets.

Requirements

• Active and unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• IVIg experience required
• In-home infusion experience is generally required. Exceptions may apply.
• A valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance are required, with access to a vehicle for business-related travel
• A clear background check

• Provide personalized, one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education aligned with the physician's treatment plan.
• Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other collaborative partners.
