About The Position

This is a Part-Time Home Infusion / IVIG Registered Nurse (RN) position in a rapidly expanding market. The role is fully remote and autonomous, providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Atlanta, GA area. This position offers a change from the traditional hospital setting, allowing for a better work-life balance and the opportunity to build one-on-one relationships with patients. As a Home Infusion RN, you will provide immune globulin infusion therapies, utilize your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in their homes, and deliver one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment. Occasional travel of up to 150-200 miles one way is expected, with paid travel time and reimbursed mileage. AIS Healthcare is a national leader in the home infusion / IVIG field, seeking compassionate and clinically expert RNs.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current license in Georgia and the ability to be licensed in other states.
  • Minimum one year nursing experience; IV-related experience a plus
  • Have and maintain current CPR certification
  • Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance (Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause)
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Nice To Haves

  • Three years' nursing experience
  • One year infusion experience
  • Home healthcare experience
  • CRNI or IgCN certification preferred, not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in our patients' homes
  • Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients in the comfort of their own home.
  • Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
  • Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners.
  • Challenge your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion.
