About The Position

This is a PRN (as needed) Home Infusion / IVIG Registered Nurse (RN) position in a rapidly expanding market. It is a fully remote and autonomous position providing infusions in the home setting for patients in the Lincoln, NE area. This role offers a change from the traditional hospital setting, focusing on work-life balance and building one-on-one relationships with patients. The nurse will provide immune globulin infusion therapies, utilizing clinical IV experience and a personal touch to assist patients in their homes. This role involves one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment. Continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion is provided, with potential reimbursement for certification expenses like Immune Globulin Certified Nurse (IgCN). The role requires occasional travel up to 150-200 miles one way, with paid travel time and reimbursed mileage.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current license in Nebraska and the ability to be licensed in other states.
  • Minimum one year nursing experience.
  • Have and maintain current CPR certification.
  • Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance (Liability limits of at least $100,000/$300,000 or $300,000 CSL and no business exclusion clause).
  • Have experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity.

Nice To Haves

  • IV-related experience is a plus.
  • Three years' nursing experience.
  • One year infusion experience.
  • Home healthcare experience.
  • CRNI or IgCN certification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide immune globulin infusion therapies in our patients' homes.
  • Use clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients in the comfort of their own home.
  • Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment.
  • Challenge clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion.
